Sunday 160's First Aniversary

I wrote the very first Sunday 160 on June 28, 2009.
So, today being the 160's first anniversary,
I am posting the original (which had no comments) in its honor.

(Just for the sake of staying within the rules of the Sunday 160, the intro you just read was written with 160 characters including spaces - yes, I am that anal.)

You have done a good work here, MM. Stuck with it a whole year. Your first 160 is enchanting. I wasn't blogging last year at this time, but if I had been, I'd have told you, you're a poet, man.

Has it really been a whole year? I could swear it was only a few months ago. You must have been doing it before I met you. I hadn't even considered doing a 55 this time last year.

Mine is here.

happy anniversary, the first 160 is as sentimental as many of the ones that followed. You are a deep man Monkey Man. Thanks for inspiring me with the 160 challenge each week. Mine is up...it's my birthday, so guess what I 160'd about?

Happy Anniversary! Sunday 160s are fun. I am glad you started it. I like the first one you wrote. It makes me feel calm. This week mine is entitled "Listen" at marie-experience-strength-hope.blogspot.com

Look what you've done! Honestly, you have whittled me into a better writer.
It’s hard to cut a piece to 160 characters, but you find what wasn't needed afterall.

(anal 160 comment!)
mine is up.
thank you, MM.

Happy first anniversary, and the first 160 post was as wonderful as the last.

cool story and happy 1st!

this whole idea intrigues me. typically i have many words and vocal fillers as well. this idea challenges me because it forces me to write as i normally wouldnt.

i said i was going to do one and i promise i will.

I was taken back by the way this song started, unlike the others. Have you always been this poetic?

I enjoy my coffee silent too... Well, with the exception of flatulence.

You painted an idealic setting in just 160 characters... and launched a wonderful idea!

Happy 1 year anniversary MM! I'm glad to be a part of it!
