Good-bye 160

Blackness covered the day.

Trees shivered to shed their leaves.

Skin disappeared.

Fingers replaced by wool.

Skies cried in grief.

Summer ends

in a thunder clap.

wow! this made me sad, here in GA we can make summer stretch and stretch into almost November! Winter is so hard for me! and it feels like it comes on just like you described it!

TWM - We had a beautiful summer and I hate to see it go. Then again, fall in Oregon is gorgeous.

Angelina - It is easy to rule something when there is no other to compare to. Try it.

Boots - Welcome! We will actually be seeing better weather later this week in Portland, so summer is being stretched here at bit.

Silver - Thank you. I enjoy your writing as well. My writing is often influenced by what I see. I am very visual by nature.

Nice one. Summer has ended here, it has turned cold at night.

We had 1 week above 80 degrees then it was like poop going down the terlet...going going rinsing and gone.
