A glow of spent happiness filled the air.
Ribbons and wrap littered the floor
as satisfied smiles
long lingered
across the faces
of Santas of all ages and sizes.

I hope with all that is within me that it was memorable day of family among a string of them already passed and yet to come.

I'm sure an aftermath can be good, but the word always involves violence to me.

Congratulations, Santa.
Congratulations, Santa.
I could use your photo on my 160 today too. Lovely thoughts, MM. I'm late but here: Christmas laugh

And then Mama starts cleaning up the mess!
That picture reminded me of just how much trash we generated over the last week. It is ridiculous. We could start our own landfill.
That's it! We are spending this year getting you a poetry book deal! I can't take your brilliance anymore. It needs to be immortalized in a pretty book with a gold binding and...maybe some Journey lyrics as a prologue!
This made me smile. I love Santas of all ages and sizes. Great line.
