One Shot - Fate

Face to face for the first time
yet souls that had been together
for an eternity
connected,
safe,
familiar.
Feelings open and honest
brothers and sisters,
husbands and wives,
lovers
from another time and place
few gain this opportunity
and fewer still understand and follow.

there is something to the coming together physically that takes relationships to a new level...

I like the idea of meeting for the first time, yet having been connected forever. Describes it well.

Fate really does pull people together in the universe doesn't it? Interesting the way you communicate the idea.

Oh such a rare, precious connection you express. Worth one's lifetime to discover; and to never take for granted. Very well written.

Amazing how you capture that feeling of meeting someone for the first time knowing that you've been connected to them forever! Beautiful.

Affinity--it's one of the things that makes me wish I could believe in reincarnation. No explanation for it whatsoever...but it's one of the best things to find in this world.

And that's the way we would all hope it happens. Really lovely piece.

This speaks volumes to me. A rare occurance but when it happens it steals the breath. Simply beautiful words.

Yes, I guess we are destined to meet as if our fates are there ever since before we are born...
Loved this thought provoking One!

Amazingly beautiful. Such bond is difficult for some people to belive, yet a few will know, deep in their hearts the connection is older than we can track.

My favorite One Shot today.

Kiss you MMan. Have a wonderful New Year. =*

Hmm mystical - very intriguing

thanks for your visit

There's something mystical in this -- suggested by the line "souls have been together for etnernity," Few have this opportunity; still fewer take hold of it. Nice one.

I love stories like this, Monkey Man. How two souls just "know." Thanks for sharing.

Few get that chance, only the lucky and the open get to re-explore those relationships that will stand the test of time.

All comments above I agree with; it's like bringing home a new baby from the hospital and in a day feeling as though it has been a part of you all your life. Those "meant to be relationships" are like that. How weird to make them in cyberspace and yet I have here. Well done you!
