Spinning Sunday 160

The world was spinning out of control.
Nausea was overwhelming.
How could it have come to this?
I’ll never let my children
talk me into tilt-a-whirl ride again.

Oh dear ... sounds like a serious case of motion sickness. The same thing would happen to me if I was dragged on a ride!

I know the feeling you describe. I'd be making a mess. I'm dizzy enough without the help of a "fun" ride.

I used to love roller coasters and tilt-a-whirls as a child. Not so much anymore.

Anyway, the little ditty I came up with can be found HERE

Now if that isn't tempting fate - you wouldn't believe how many times I've had to eat my own 'never again' words. Nice 160!

Now, this is funny to me because the Tilta-Whirl is about the only ride I can stomach any more. Can't do that big pirate boat, the Sizzler (sometimes called the Scrambler?) or anything that spins like the Round-Up. Poor deprived Jannie in my advanced years. :)

Isn't it interesting how our gag reflex gets more delicate with age?...I'm talking about the tilt-a-whirl, not you!

I feel nauseous just reading this post! They should rename those things tilt-a-hurls.
