160 Economic Stress

Fidgeting nervously
at the counter,
the woman waited
until the clerk was alone.
Pulling an object
from her purse,
she barked,
“I’ve never bought resale before.”

I like resale - good deals are okay by me. Was inspired to write this while shopping resale and people watching.

I'm a bargain hunter from way back. I hate paying full retail price. So to me this was a funny 160, and she deserves her comeuppance.

And, then, she got over herself!

Good one, Monkey Man!

Ha! And some people don't want the "cooties" seriously. I haven't bought anything for myself new in years, except hiking shoes/boots as you can tell from my blog.

I've been buying resale proudly my whole life. Now the call it "recessionista chic". I call it, "nothing wrong with being poor."
