The usually rapid stream
flowed slowly.
Bogging down
by unseen forces.
Ever slower,
then finally halting.
Dammed by
the on rush itself.
Mall exits at Christmas.

now this i experienced just a few minutes ago... nicely done!
Dude there isn't any mall traffic here. I went to two of them (forced by the boss of course) and both times parked right at the door.
This is why I do all my shopping during "off-hours". Terrific 160!
You have quite the knack for spot-on wording and getting the whole story line in.
How funny! We don't have huge malls with huge parking garages here but I remember them from San Francisco. Great post! I added some smoked sausage, cheese and crackers to my post for you!
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas in your new home.
Stay out of the Mall parking garages!

Ha! Being in a health care occupation I was expecting you-know-what... clever monkey!
Okay... I did it. I took the challenge. Check it out.
you know...today might have been a good day...after the crazy snow storm...not too many people out. typing up my 160 now...
I love the artwork of traffic, shown in your post, but not the reality of it. You're your usual sly self, Monkey Man. I forgot to do a Sunday 160 today. Next week for sure....
I used to know that traffic. Glad now that I get to admire pictures of it. Stay sane, in and out of malls.
Sunday 160? That's a new theme. Do I dare to attempt? Hmm... Maybe later.
Merry X'mas, friend!
You make beauty out of the mundane.
