Sunday 160 - Strength of Spirit

He felt the gentle pressure
of a hand lovingly touch his shoulder
as an image appeared in his mind.
"Mom?",
he asked as his eyes opened.
But no being was there.

Oooooh! Creepy. Moms are finding new ways to "pressure" us. Call the X-Files.

I took the sarcastic route this week.

Yes I have had the same kind of experiences and I think it could be but most likely not but it is nice to think they are.

I didn't find it creepy, I found it wistful and a bit melancholy.

My contribution this Sunday can be found at http://lemoldman.blogspot.com

Oh, I guess I should have given the title. "What Lies Ahead...If", but it'll be the first one to appear.

Comforting, not creepy, in my opinion. The touch was loving, the image peaceful.

I liked this very much, I think that many of us have experienced something quite similar.

OK, things are getting a little heavy (although I can relate about the "someone's there" moments) so I got silly today.

Ah, this hopping from blog to blog is quite invigorating, a modern version of Alice following the rabbit down the hole...

Oh yess... moms have a way of being there even if they are physical present.. they are ABSOLUTELY special!!

I liked the "spooky" touch to it, MM.. it made the read very warm and FELT!

I love this one. I really love it. I haven't blogged in so long, sorry to be absent. Your hand caught my "hand therapist" attention, (see mine, HERE ) I need to learn to write smaller words and shorter sentences.

I've honestly thought about you a million times since your mom passed away.

Powerful 160, MM.

I hope you and yours are happy and well...

I have stories of happenings like this. Sometimes Mom, sometimes Not.
Always different, almost always with the result.

None of them could be told in 160 characters--grin!

This is lovely and comforting.

I read this three times, crying. How I long to feel her touch just one more time. 9 years later and it still hurts.
