Saint Patrick’s Day?
He could care less.
Wearing no green,
he feared no pinch.
Green beer was of no interest.
March 17 would come and go
just like any other day.
His thoughts on this day
would be much more focused
and moment to moment.
Eat.
Sleep.
Take a walk.
Poop.
It's a dog’s life.
This is a Flash Fiction Friday 55
hosted by Mr. Knowitall.

Good one! Wasn't expecting the poochie twist.
Hey did you see the green kids over at Millie's? Cute. I guess goats are more into St Pat's than the canine contingent.
xo
Ha - It is a dog's life but he really is missing out on the green beer.
Thanks for the visit MM
until next time
Caught me off-guard as the 55 has a great PSA sounding set-up to it.
You played this perfectly ....
What a great 55! That looks like the way my dog is doing the holiday!
Teresa
and maybe a belly rub...cute pup!
What a Lazy Boy!
Although I bet he would like a green beer!
Loved your Dogmatic 55 Brother!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End!
That's my big headed dumb ass dog, Ezmond, warming my feet.
Aw, he's missing all the fun! Thankfully, he's not eating the corned beef and cabbage, though!
He's obviously not an Irish setter. My Jack Russell would drink green beer, or just about anything else, probably, but I'm respecting his Brit roots. Great 55.
haha! I loved this! I've missed you! How come I don't come by more often? I really like you, we sort of had a love affair going on and then you got a job!
Sounds like my cats' life...
And mine too, come to think of it.
I didn't wear green on Thursday either.
Black shirt, black sweater, and jeans.
No pinches!
I guess that's sort of a good thing.
Maybe.
You bet. Just another day. As for us, we went out to a local Irish place. Jam packed.
*woof*
Thats doggie for mines up too, believe it or not.
Have a wicked weekend
Awww bless!
A bowl of Irish stew, maybe?
I'm up here
you and G-Man never fail to em smile and read again just to make sure i set my understanding correct !!!!
Great !
55 - And all in a goblet shape! LOL
Ah a dogs life at times seems so much more peaceful..
I bet a green doggy biscuit would have been cool...you pay respect to the obvious we ignore daily...
Peace, hp
So true...never thought of it that way!
Fun! and I agree- green beer does nothing for me, dog or not! thanks.
Wonderfully true!
HA! I felt much like that as well yesterday! :o)
Smart dog. He didn't miss a damn thing, either. Perfect 55, MM!
I think my dogs felt the same way, MM. Funny 55!
It can be indeed. Nice one :-)
That's why dogs are called dogs,
human folks are smart folks...
well played humor.
enjoyed your 55.
Not even a shamrock shake would interrupt this program, eh?
I won't tell you about the whiskey I snuck him under the table...
Happy Friday.
Sometimes I wouldn't mind being a dog.
hahahaha... this is sooo true... nothing seems to be bothering him, alright.. good for him!!
Smart dog!
haha- that's a cool one.. :)
Like the canine cares not for anything or anyone!
lols
Smiles xx
Nature
Ezmond knows how to enjoy life, my little dog wore a green bow tie. I didn't play the ff55, overload from work stuff, .. Your ff55 was very clever and witty, nice write.
joanny
A bit like our cats! They both sleep a lot, 24hrs a day is typical. Often much more!
Excellent 55.
See, I'm back looking for some new material from you, but nothing!...see, you got a job, too busy to create marvellous poetry!
LOL
Love that dog of yours.
