Sunday 160 - Confined

Awakened in the dark of night -
sweating,
fearful,
heart pounding -
he felt paralyzed.
Alone.
Arms and legs bound.
He hated the confinement of a down mummy bag.

lol - yep - can feel uneasy - but lying in a cool tent, wrapped in a warm down mummy bag can also be a very nice, comforting feeling...

my 160 is up as well
have a fantastic sunday!

I played again this week...

My 160 is up -- although I must concede that being trapped in a warm cocoon downy sleeping bag is a whole lot better then my small attempt .

Very descriptive 160, MM. That's a feeling I know too well. It was the basis of many a childhood nightmare.

My 160 is up up.

LOL! Very funny MM.

I'm up too. This time, I combined your meme with Magpie Tales.

My heart was crying for the plaintive wails and then.... the punch line. I am so flipping gullible!

i too am claustrophobic, no mummy bags..comforter below my chin, if i ever need an MRI they might as well just let me die already. Funny twist to the story. Mine is up. (sorry, I can't figure out how to do that "linking" thing).

When I was a kid I hated mummy bags, but I've since found they really are warmer, and sometimes that matters.

My 160 is here.

Hope you and yours are happy and well. Thanks for your support last week.

I love camping and now sadly will be calling my sleeping bag the mummy bag although I think that beats the zombie bag :-) Great piece.

Ack! I immediately felt claustrophobic! But I guess that was your intent! ha!

Nothing like a mummy bag on a summer night in the wilds, or a cold room.

This is my first try with the 160 character challenge. It's fun. Might even try it again.

some one should let him know it is the wrong time of year for a full down mummy bag.

Leeuna said...

Great 160 post. I can't sleep unless one of my feet are on top of the covers, so no mummy bags for me...unless I could cut a hole in it.
