Sunday 160 - Cousins

The similarity was haunting,
not looks,
but mannerisms and speech.
Even the twisted humor
weaved in and out
of conversation.
Blood was truly thicker than water.

For the original Sunday 160 post click here.
If you wish to take the challenge, here is a quick look at the rules.
The Sunday 160 only uses 160 characters (including spaces).
Keep on schedule - post Sunday.
Let me know you have posted via a comment on my site.
Visit at least one other Sunday 160.

One of my best friends for over 25 years in an uncanny and totally coincidental way shares a resemblance to me and people are always asking if we are sisters. (Neither of us had a sister and always wanted one.)

Blood? Water? We're thick.

My 160 is up.

Nice picture. They look like great pals. They have the same mischievous twinkle in their eyes.

I’m up here.

Good picture to go with the 160. Now, who is who there?

This is great! Me and my cousin are the same way...not looks but kindred spirits. She's even my roommate for a bit now. our personalities are so much alike (even our bad moods) that its my personality was cloned into her! I loved this 160 :)

There really is something in genetics. I've met family who were quite distant in blood and location and culture with whom I felt very much at home. Great 160

Mine is here

it is uncanny the way some people are so alike. two of my brothers don't look alike and live far apart, but seeing and listening to one talk is just like visiting with the other one. It freaks me out sometimes, actually.
My 160 is up.
Have a great Sunday.

I'm sad...I'm nothing like any of my cousins! Is it me or is it them?

Please check out my 160.

I do love it when a certain turn of phrase or gesture echoes through a family. No matter the physical appearance, if you look hard enough you can usually find a link... :)

I'm playing again this week. Mine is HERE

Have a great week!

soo true. I saw a 5 year old who had enough of his grandma's featured today, there was no mistaking the genes. Of course, the more unique the qualities, the easier to identify. Our clan is not "Gross" lightly....

I have long-lost cousins too. Met on FB, hope to meet them too.

You are both so cute.

So which one is you?

Blood is thicker than water, and mannerism is the similar helix ladder!
