What?

Always listening. Perhaps sometimes hearing.

Do we really hear what is said or do we hear what we want?

We must listen then ask if what is heard are the truths.

Always hearing,
rarely listening makes
the difference between
understanding and
self centered aural separateness.
Segregating I sounds
just for studios, not ears.

TWM - Poignant comment as always. I wish listening were as easy as reading.

Truth is a hidden record. It is carved in stone, written in ink, and played with when times are hard. But it is truth that makes the eyes clearer and the heart more in touch.

"Find me inside the darkness
Dream of me with eyes wide open
and love me when the sun forgets to shine
For in truth I am always standing here beside you"

Soft love,

T - Thoughtful response. I really appreciate and relate to the last line of - eyes clearer and heart more in touch. You have your second graph in quotes....is the poem yours? Or? It is lovely.
