Parenting to the best of our ability,
we felt we had prepared him well.
Nearly 17 and a man-child,
all we saw was our little boy -

I will admit that I am biased, but that aside,
one of the most outside the box Sunday 160's I have ever seen
can be found on Pheromone Girls' blog. yes, it's a real link
If you don't visit her...you are missing out.
Really!!

Grrrrrrr....
But I could Yahtzee and Euchre!!!
Words cannot describe... how much fun I had posting this week. Really.
But you have to start pimping my work, or people are going to WONDER about us, MM.
yes PG rocked the house on this 160...
and yours is nice as well...one day i will truly understand it...
my 160
Love the man-child 160...just perfect! I played again this week ~ taking FAR too long in the making...but what fun I've had.
Here you go: 160 ~ Left Behind
Well, of course, the man-child is a grabbing bit of memory for some of us...
But I REALLY appreciated also your link to Pheromone. What a post! Thanks you, MM
Blogger had me saying the same thing twice, so I removed it, OK?
Blogger has been having some odd hick ups these days, Steve. Your first comment doubled up too, so I removed one.
I was 17 when was left all by self to face the world and completely alone- this does not happen in our country. A child is well fed and taken care of till he/she graduates from a degree college and finds a job!
In my case- I was just forced out of my home..
Insightful 160
Sunday Hugs xoxo
Sunday Read
Nice 160, MM. I played this week, working it into my music challenge, of course. Mine's also sort of about my son growing up. :)
Mine is here.
My 160 may be + or - one. I've given up!! LOL HERE
Parents do that a lot. My dad still thought of me as seven when I was in my forties!
I wrote a 160. I think it's called
/rant
Everyone has done superbly this week. I had to rush and get one in before I left for work.
Start Spreading the News
I love your 160--and the photo is perfect. So dear.
Here's mine this week: http://bodhirose.wordpress.com/2011/06/04/i-see-in-you/
I still consider my sons man/boys, at the ages of 50,49 and 48!!!
You'll never get past that, MM. Nice universal 160.
And thanks for the point over to Pheromone Girl. Outside the box is right.
Oh, My!
My son is 18 this May,
time flies.
Love your 160, it is independence time.
Here is
My Sunday 160!
Mine son is not even 5 and sometimes I think he's a little too eager to take over the world.
Great 160!
(You're right, Pheromone Girl's tops all!)
I played along this week! Mine's here.
Ha ha, I love the picture. It reminds me of my little boy who is now a married man and just recently, a father.
Lovely 160! so true- you can see the youngster in them no matter what their age!
I had to link on Gman's page, I couldn't paste to yours- sorry.
Hi! I found you from Alice Audrey. I like this game, it makes me think. I like your 160. This past week I've come across several parents with children grown :-) Including my own that's soon going to be 20. And yes, Pheromone Girl's 160 is really neat. Oh, and I know, I'm a day late - I'm sorry. I had technical problems last night. Still, I hoped to get to participate for this week. Thank you!
My exact 160 post is here: http://akweelife.blogspot.com/2011/06/sunday-160.html
I loved this, and I agree, Pheremone Girls is totally original!
I don't want to miss out so I better go visit the link.
When I dream of my brother he is always a little boy even if he is doing grown up things.
that can be a scary feeling!
Ya, what's up between you and Pheromone Girl...are you two, like an item or something?
I do enjoy her A LOT!
And this poem Mr. Le Monkey was beautiful. And the picture was adorable!
(Shhh Sandra - people will talk!)
