55 - On Edge

Pacing back and forth, back and forth.
Anxiety dripped from every pour
and an imperceptible growl
erupted from a face on the verge of a snarl.
The entire room stopped,
all eyes drawn to the restless figure.
Until a lone voice broke the silence,
exclaiming,
“For God sake, would someone please let the dog out."

That is too funny! Everybody always waits for someone else to do it.

This is why I have cats.
They always stay indoors, and they bury their own poop in the litter box.
Usually.

(*ahem*)

Thanks for another Friday 55!
Mine's here. :)

Thankfully, my two granddogs can use the doggie door and I don't have to worry about that chore...however, if I ignore them too long and they want attention, they pester me until I deliver the required cuddles and pats!!

Mine is at:

He is awfully high maintenance, that brute. "Let me in, let me out..." I prefer the fish some mornings.

That sounds familiar, but in reverse! Our large dog body slams the front door to get back in from the heat. Sounds like storm troopers attacking. ;)
