Sunday 160 - Diggin' In

Tiny holes littered the landscape
as if an epic war
of miniature proportions
had scarred the ground.
Wildly digging,
the army wished for maps.
Stupid squirrels.

This is definitely a favorite! Ran over a squirrel the other day...they're not my favorites, but I love how you personified them here.

You should never say stupid. It's a bad word...unfortunately all of the words I could think of to replace stupid are badder.
Cute squirrel. I can picture you on google images scouring for just the right squirrel in army attire.
