55 - Charmed

His life seemed charmed.
The right job was there when he needed it.
People came into his life at just the right moment.
Even when finances looked desperate,
money would arrive.
He felt like he had it all
and it all led to this very moment in time.
Now, all he could do was smile.

Cute set of sentences. Maybe add a final one: "And play the lottery."

I can't help thinking something horrible is just around the corner (but that's just my crazy way of thinking). A charmed life - would be fun to have it for while, wouldn't it?

Nothing is too bad if you can smile - as long as it isn't a demented one.

I went from Brian Miller to you and it hit me, "Is your fella sitting in the catbird seat?"

Sorry long day...about to get even longer. Have a great weekend!

You remind me life is more charmed than I realize. Not always, but sometimes.

Charmed indeed. Kind of makes you want to kick him, doesn't it?

Very lucky to be so charmed

I kept waiting for the nasty twist at the end, but you played this one straight. And when you get lucky, it's good to enjoy it in at least 55 ways. On your WTH story--59 ain't old, and 29 is way too old to be purse-snatching for a living and unable to ride a bike. I also want to be part of the lady's fan club.

Like Hedgewitch I was waiting for the come-uppance. Though if all one does is smile==hmmmm...

And love pursesnatching! I once ran down some pickpockets! Got the wallet back!

(Don't know if I'd recommend it. They were not armed!)

Wow, what an upbeat 55. I really needed its positive rays because I have had the flu for several days now (which is why I am late and have not read others' 55s) and your 55 made me feel better. So thanks. And thanks, too, for letting me know that my link over at Gs was messed up. I corrected it, and I really appreciate your perseverance so much.
