Sunday 160 - Into Thin Air

Wispy clouds
tried with all their might
to form dragons
and dogs
and angels
but the sun
melted them into nothingness.
Leaving the sky
a singular pallet of blue.

I miss the clouds, its fun to turn them into animals in my head. When I'm not spoiling the mood, being all scientific and telling people how they dissipate because they're just gathering moisture... I must be so boring at cocktail parties.

I can see a very small dragon, but apart from that it's like that here too. Glad you're having a sunny Sunday!

I like this a lot. Clouds a mesmerizing, but sometimes a clear blue sky is so soothing, just what I need after a frantic week.

Blue skies need a bit of cloud stains for texture.

Beautiful. It reminded me of the suspended feeling I used to feel when I did springboard diving--there's a split second of soaring. I suspect our Arizona sky would burn any clouds that came on the horizon, but then we don't get clouds so I wouldn't know. Argh!

I've been watching clouds as I swim laps on my back at the community pool. They are so beautiful, like this poem. Pallet of blue alone -- smiple but lovely.
