55 - St. Patrick's Meh!

Saint Patrick’s Day?
He could care less.
Wearing no green,
he feared no pinch.
Green beer was of no interest.
March 17 would come and go
just like any other day.
His thoughts on this day
would be much more focused
and moment to moment.
Eat.
Sleep.
Take a walk.
Poop.
It's a dog’s life.

This is a Flash Fiction Friday 55
hosted by Mr. Knowitall.
For more 55's pay him a visit -

Good one! Wasn't expecting the poochie twist.

Hey did you see the green kids over at Millie's? Cute. I guess goats are more into St Pat's than the canine contingent.

Caught me off-guard as the 55 has a great PSA sounding set-up to it.

Loved your Dogmatic 55 Brother!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End!

That's my big headed dumb ass dog, Ezmond, warming my feet.

Aw, he's missing all the fun! Thankfully, he's not eating the corned beef and cabbage, though!

He's obviously not an Irish setter. My Jack Russell would drink green beer, or just about anything else, probably, but I'm respecting his Brit roots. Great 55.

haha! I loved this! I've missed you! How come I don't come by more often? I really like you, we sort of had a love affair going on and then you got a job!

Sounds like my cats' life...
And mine too, come to think of it.

I didn't wear green on Thursday either.
Black shirt, black sweater, and jeans.

No pinches!
I guess that's sort of a good thing.
Maybe.

You bet. Just another day. As for us, we went out to a local Irish place. Jam packed.

A bit like our cats! They both sleep a lot, 24hrs a day is typical. Often much more!
Excellent 55.
