“Dad, why are trees dying?”

“Well, son, trees go into a hibernation mode
and chlorophyll begins to fade
leaving carotenoids as the primary pigments..."

“Huh?”

Heehee. Yup, sometimes we overload the answer with more than they asked...oops! Nice 160. Keep thinking I'm going to try this, but I'm so verbose...not sure I could do it...

I had a similar experience with my nephew. He was so relieved to hear that the trees would come back in spring!

Great 160! "Huh?" indeed. :) Can't say I love the expression on the boy's face, but what an expressive face it is - great catch of a pic.

Mine is here.

Thanks!

I got a similar reaction when trying to have that conversation.

Heading towards 60, I'm still the kid that says "Huh?" Okay sometimes I'm also the adult that makes others say that. :-)

Here's my second 160.

I ain't afraid of no wood chipper, Monkey Man. If humans are below dolls in the pecking order, than a monkey man is at the bottom. Har har. Don't mess with Dale the Doll as Halloween gets closer....
