One Stop Movie of the Week

Moving silently
across the blue screen,
characters of fluffy,
gray tinged white cotton candy
played an unending game of tag.
Giant bunnies baring down on dragons.
Stick chasing dogs dissipating into
puffs of wind blown snow balls.
Scenery ever changing.
Always entertaining.
Hypnotic.
Creative.
A museum
of art in the sky.

Yes, art on the blue screen...or gray...or scarlet. It's forever changing!

And entry is free.

A nice synchronicity is that I just read Andy Warhol's words:

What I like are things that are different every time.

I love cloud-gazing... you've captured the nuances perfectly, magically, with the eyes of a child.

It's exactly like a movie! I get lost in cloud watching all the time. This poem was lovely, Monkey Man.

Art always changing,
never looking back,
for your eyes only.

Nice imagery!

I had the most wonderful cloud-gazing experience just the other day.

Fluffy bunches of white and grey across the entire sky, from horizon to horizon, and a pantheon of characters waiting to be discovered there.

Later a huge rainstorm blew in and mucked-up the whole thing.

Once I saw a cloud that looked like an orangutan... but you described your clouds well, mate! Dragons, bunnies, dogs, behold the infinite possibilites the human imagination could present! Great piece!

I love this! My husband was talking to me on his way home from class the other night & he started talking about nonsensical things he was seeing. I finally figured out that he was watching the clouds in the sky. He had to stop & take a picture. I didn't really see what he did, but I think that's the best part about cloud reading.

When I was a child, we were doing this all the time - laid down - side by side on the grass and watching the clouds - and asking each other: do you see the sailboat and the elephant.
I should start again with watching the sky...
So beautiful written - thanks!

These ever-changing clouds always create a suspense, making us wonder what shape they'll take next...
And I loved your style, and that poem-tree that you form! Excellent!!!
Have a fantastic Wednesday and a bright week ahead!
