In Stitches - 55

Holding his throbbing hand,
he sat counting his stitches.
He understood that the pain
from the surgery
would only be temporary,
but hated the annoyance of it all.
One hand typing
slowed him down
and he felt useless
around the house.
Until he saw two
kind, little words
in a note -
Feel Better
she wrote.

My word verification is "BUSIMO", which is what you shout (instead of Geronimo) when you're jumping off a moving bus.

Thanks for another 55! :)

Keep the hand out of the running food processor and
A) You won't be typing one handed

and B) the downside...you don't get notes reminding you that you are loved.

Minor surgery is what happens to somebody else. It's major if it happens to me. I hope you're typing with 2 hands real soon.
