55 - Virtuoso

Hands flew with grace and fluidity across the keyboard.
Notes appeared as if out of thin air.
A virtuoso.
A prodigy.
If he could imagine it,
sound would burst from his fingertips.
He closed his eyes
and continued to play
until a voice interrupted to say,
“Stop playing air piano while you’re driving the car.”

I absolutely love this! We are all virtuosos in our own minds. Will you be back with 160 this week? I posted last week only to discover you were gone.

Those voices are always on your case, MM. Good to read a 55 from you, and also to see a WTH Wednesday again--especially one with which I have to sadly but strongly agree. The odd thing to me is how eagerly people seem to grab onto the issues that are the most polarizing, while claiming they want to "move the country forward" You don't move anywhere when the front wheels and back wheels are going in opposite directions.

Love it! I had a friend who was a drummer and he was always playing "drums" on the steering wheel.

Many do so! Others sound like they're driving a car when they're playing the piano.

Good grief... you close your eyes. I think I'd rather have you texting. ha -and Dr. FTSE is almost as funny as you. Great post. :)

This is why I play my air piano when no one is with me in the car. I loved the ending...
