55 - It is upon us

Hypnotically entranced before the sacred alter,
he murmured in a slow inaudible tone.
He rocked in a rhythmic pattern
as family members leaned in
to try to make sense
of what they perceived
as a meticulous mantra.
Finally someone said,
“Would you please
step away from the television?
College football season doesn’t start until Saturday.”

Thankfully no one here is a fan of that sport.

Happy friday!

I loved the rocking in rhythmic pattern--this usually precedes the cusswords in rhythmic pattern. Your clown on the golf cart was pretty rockin too--no shock there on the attire--I've seen some of em dressed in clothes that would be over the top on Bozo.

I was sure you were watching Big Brother and the mantra was "Would someone please kick Shelley off already!"
But college football. Works too.

Hah! Great! Oh, and I bet that those people won't ask him to step aside in those civil tones once the season has begun. :)

Wow, a year goes fast.

I was thinking this was about a groom at the altar. And I guess in a way it is -- married to the sport. :)

Very nice and written like a true sports fan. Not so much into sports at our house, although I used to watch college basketball.
