What The Hell Wednesday - Dark Knight Indeed

Just when I think I am not going to find a story with a main character more stupid than the last, I get a big surprise. I am sure you won't know whether to laugh out loud or just shake your head back and forth after reading this story. I did both.

Man trying to steal car blames Batman

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police say a man tried to carjack a plainclothes officer near filming for the latest Batman movie — and allegedly told him it was part of the script.

Detective Robert DiGiacomo was in an unmarked vehicle around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, looking for a suspect in an assault. That's when police say a man opened the car door, sat down and told the officer to get out.

The officer drew his gun and ordered the suspect, 21-year-old Micah Calamosca, out of the car. He says the suspect told him he was part of filming for "The Dark Knight Rises" and that taking the vehicle was in the script.

Calamosco was taken into custody and faces a charge of robbery of a motor vehicle.

I take it young Micah thought Detective DiGiacomo was as stupid as he was. I really hope that DiGiacomo's gun was a Smith & Wesson .44 magnum Model 629 with 10-5/8" barrel and he looked Micah Calamosca right in the eye and said, "Do ya feel lucky? Well? Do ya, punk?" just so the whole movie fantasy could play out the way our young carjacker wanted it to.

I will admit that the "taking the vehicle was in the script" idea was pretty darn creative. Quick thinking for someone who clearly has very limited gray matter between his ears. The mere fact that he knew what was going on is rather amazing to me. It would have been more believable if he had said "Batman made me do it."

Another fact I really like in this story is.....Karma! Keep doing bad shit stuff to people, Micah, and you will get caught or something bad will happen to you. Will he learn his lesson? Sadly, probably not. But at least he got caught and written up in the local paper so I could find the story and share it with you all here.

Once again, I would have loved to have been a fly in the car when macho Micah told what he thought was just some easily intimidated schlep to  "Get out" and was greeted by the barrel of a gun. I am sure he squeaked in a very high pitched voice, "What the Hell?"

Hahah. I don't know what to say is, I'm so glad there are dumb criminals and I'm even more glad when they're dume with cops than citizens so they can be taken away quickly and quietly.

At least the kid had a pretty creative excuse for his punkass behavior... nothing like a whimpering snotnose sobbing, "But, but, officer... my overbearing mom stressed me out and made me like this..."

I'm guessing after getting the tables turned on him at the end of a barrel, the carjackers 'BAT-PANTIES' will never be the same! W.C.C.

I try to blame Batman for most of my problems.
Even the ones that are really Robin's fault.
