55 - Who's there?

Once again, he found himself on the familiar front steps.
He felt safe and secure at last.
As he reached for the door,
it swung wide open with an aggressive force.
Stepping back,
he was greeted by an angry voice shouting,
“How many times do I have to tell you?
You live next door. ”

FUNNN-NEEE! I'm laughing, as I remember once a wife told me that I "lived next door". It was dark, and I was...well...YOU know!

Turned into a V E R Y embarrassing night and morning! No jail--the cops thought it was all too funny!

Thank for the memory, APE MAN! Is your first name Tarzan?

You got an out loud HA! from me on that one--I've done that with cars and shopping carts, but so far, not my house. Loved your Revenge of the Grannies story below, also. Have a great weekend.

Ah, but sometimes the neighbor's house is so comforting.
I love the picture of the knocker.
