Sunday 160 - War?

The explosions started slowly
then came in rapid fire succession,
bursts echoing in our ears.
When all was quiet,
we savored our buttery popped kernels of corn.

An explosive narrative, MM.

Have you tried the ones where the popcorn is still on the cob? I haven't yet, but it looks like fun.

it does sound a bit like war, I agree - if only real wars came to as definitive (and savory) an ending...

Ooohh... loved the "sorny" twist!! Yummyyy!!!!
You gotta try roasting corn on the cobs, and then sprinkling some lime juice and salt n pepper on it!! You will dig it!! :)) It's a monsoon specialty in Mumbai (India), but I am thinking it'll be perfect for snowy winters too!

And here's my 160 for this week...
