Baby it's cold outside - 55

A friend in Wisconsin
said snow has been falling heavily
and is nearly waist high.
The temperature
is staying below freezing
and the icy north wind is increasing.
His wife has done nothing
but look through the kitchen window.
He says that if the weather gets much worse,
he may have to let her in.

She may be cold, but it's gonna get HOT! Quickly.

Since I am the Thursday "cookie mtg" joke teller, 200 Peeps will appreciate this one.

It is funny, and fits into their attention span requirements.

LOL! Nothing like a 55 with a punch-line!

(In northern Michigan they like to refer to really deep snow as being 'asshole-high to a tall indian')

Unknown said...

I'm laughing so hard at that, I'm covering my face. This is what I do when I'm laughing really hard. I cover my face. My face becomes covered when I laugh at something a lot. Like really hard kind of laughing. I'm trying to annoy you. Did it work?

Susan at Stony River said...

EEEEK!!! I burst out laughing -- that's excellent! (poor dear -- it's cold outside here too!)

Nessa said...

Hilarious, my friend. The words wife and kitchen had me thinking he had her baking cookies or something...but you were far more creative. Great 55--thanks for the laughs.

Argent said...

I wandered over from Enchanted Oak's blog and was rewarded with a great big dollop of humour. Nicely done with the 55, didn't see the ending coming at all.
