Theme Thursday - Pink

We had hoped for shades of red.
Deep, blood red.
So when you walked by
you felt the passion
and wished to take your
partner by the hand,
grasp her close to your
chest and kiss her
with severe affection.

We waited with great anticipation
for it to bloom.
Watching the red tips peek
from the green edges
only to find the bloom -

Pink.

Beautiful, but passive.
A poor step sister to the
bright flame of Black Magic.

But they're both so pretty...and I'm sure they each serve their own purpose! Great pictures.

At the risk of sounding contrary, I think I prefer the pink.

Ha! Well done! The two colours truly do give off completely different vibes in the same flower, don't they? Nice. :)

Pink has its virtues too. None inferior, only 'different'

Oh... So pink is just the poor step sister of red... I guess that's one way of seeing it... :)

Oh, I'm all for pink love, all young and innocent. The red one, and its "severe affection" are a little too intense for me.

My post for Pink, close to my heart, is up here.

I love when this happens.
