A Sunday 160 To My Wife

Her rhythmic breathing
was quiet and peaceful.
I reached out
to caress
her warm soft skin.
She rustled slightly
as I whispered

“Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.”

You're a wise man my friend. It's her day, and a nice way of paying homage to her. She deserves it.

I also hope that today brought wonderful memories of your own mother.
