Button Pusher's 55

“This one is like a tiny pea under a mattress.
This one is will be like a poke in the chest.
This one will feel like a driver cutting you off in traffic.
And this is my favorite.
I call it having last word.”

Teenagers are the masters at knowing how to push your buttons.

How very right you are...

I let my tween have the last word, every time. It's usually some form of, "Mommy, I didn't mean to sayyyy that. I really didn't!!!"

Because missing out on kayaking just sucks. Especially for her.

So true about teenagers and even some of us adults LOL Well written I liked this. Happy Easter to you and your family :) Mine is up HERE.

"Having the last word" is my favorite. It's been a long time since I had a teen getting in the last word, but I have a cat who's a master at it.

Love the music too!

One more year and I'll have a teenager.
However, I have noticed that work mates are also good at pushing buttons...

sunday 160s are hard for me, this 55 was a fun one to read.
I April Fools Day joked my guys one at a time when they turned on the sink the sprayer stayed on and soaked their shirt. Each teenage boy had a different reaction!
Ha! mom wins this time.

All that button pushing, makes you rethink the over use of zippers.

Did I really say that?

Thanks for the laugh...and for making me glad I don't have to share a room with a younger sister any more. :)

Oh boy, I'm not looking forward to the teenage years. I was such a jerk.

This is great! My step daughter just had her 12th birthday, and now her mom and I are both counting 363 days until she's a teenager...LOL

As a former teenager who knew how to push, and as a parent who's button gets pushed, I am an expert at this.

my last word always happen about an hour after the incident..except when it comes to teenagers, since I do not have children they seem to feel I am somehow better than their parents and therefore I am immune--except of coursem when I tell them what they don't want to hear, then I am like everyone else maybe worse....ah life--great 55!
