Sunday 160 - Our Gorge

Waterfalls cascading. Kites billowing in the constant breeze, pulling excited surfers. Basalt bluffs protruding like jagged teeth. The Gorge beckons. Our Gorge.

By George! That is one large gorge. Must be hard not being around smokestacks and the constant thump of traffic.

T - You appear to be a resident of Washington State, so you MUST be familiar with our shared Columbia River Gorge. It is a rare beauty on both sides of the River.

TWM - Traffic is nearby, but smokestacks are left behind.

Monkey man,

No I am actually from the east coast but living in Michigan. I have a good friend who lives on Whidbey and cousins that live in WA. I love the beauty of this state, it makes me want to sit high in the tallest of trees and whisper good morning to the sun as it rises. Oh sappy me I know, but when struck with such beauty how can you deny what it makes you feel?

smiles,
T

T,
I think it was the post you had with the photo of the sound that lead me to believe you were a Northwesterner.
